Fan Activation Ignited: Ottawa’s Love for the Game Lives On
As part of an arena-wide fan activation, our team at The Bees Knees Design sculpted two monumental bells inspired by the original Peace Tower Liberty Bell, reimagined for the spirit of Sens Nation. Each bell, standing three feet tall and four feet wide, was meticulously hand-sculpted and cast to capture the timeless shape of its historical muse.
To make it truly unique to the team, we integrated the Ottawa Senators’ 3D logo directly into the bell’s surface — a powerful symbol of pride and identity. Finished in the distinct bronze tone found on the team’s jerseys, the bells gleam with the same bold energy that fills the arena on game day.
During home games, one bell takes centre spotlight as a celebrity or fan rings it before player introductions — a moment designed to send energy pulsing through the crowd. The second bell travels to sponsorship and community events, serving as a photo op and experiential activation that extends the excitement beyond the rink.
